Chicken Soup for the Sewing People

I love it when a plan comes together.

Slacks. Done.

It seems almost zen-like when you are so "into" a project. Like the one above. There are so many steps to the process. And when you're done (and ... assuming you got the results you expected) there's a sense of elation, accomplishment, a 'whew that went well' moment.

This pair of slacks turned out nice too:

Do you experience that with your projects?

Seriously, you are a professional when it comes to sewing my friend. I like how they turned out. Was this using the blindhemmer? Great job! xxoo

Nope. This was 100% sewing machine. My blindhemmer is out of commission. The foot control is broken (it arrived that way) and I have yet to fire it up. I'm anxiously awaiting a replacement so I can get some more pants shortened. Son No. 1 is in his school's play next week and I was hoping to have some black slacks hemmed using my new machine. Arrgh. We shall see.
